Duhigg breaks the habit into three steps 1) The Cue (what triggers the habit) 2) The Routine (the behavior or thought pattern of the habit) 3) The Reward (The payoff for the habit) you can read more about The Habit Loop in my article. He uses this model to show how changing our habits can change our life.

Rich Dad Poor Dad is a book by Robert T. Kiyosaki, it contrasts what the rich teach their kids about money and what the poor teach their kids. Kiyosaki grew up with two dads, one (his real dad) who was an academic and one (a friend’s dad who mentored him) who was an entrepreneur.

The Four Tendencies by Gretchen Rubin is about how we respond to expectations that others place on us (External) and the expectations we place on ourselves (internal). Never have I had a book peg me so well, it has helped me understand my personality better and more importantly make productive changes. Hopefully you can get as much out of it as I have! I highly recommend that everyone read this book and I will include links to the book on Chapters and iTunes as well as a link to a quiz to find out in which of the four tendencies you fall into. It is important to note that this personality framework is only about one thing, how you respond to expectations, how exactly these tendencies will express themselves in your life is dependent on your personality as a whole, if you are honest though, you will find yourself in one of these Tendencies.
